these isabel marant “renell” jeans are absolutely killer and miss nicole richie sure knows how to rock em. these beauties first walked down the runway over the summer in their fall/winter show and now we are dying to get our hands on them. the funky native american print is found all down the seams and on the back pockets. aren’t these such a fun change from the usual blue denim!?

choker necklaces from the ’90s are making a comeback; thankfully the typical black velvet chokers have been completely redesigned and are surfacing in mixed metals that look much more sophisticated.

we are currently obsessing over this tassel torque open choker with hanging chains from topshop. (i know… we talk about topshop items a lot! but how can we not.. their stuff’s so amazing!) it’s a great way to make your everyday outfits really stand out. and best of all, you can wear it with the chains hanging down, or you can tie them up in a pretty knot! this goodie is definitely a piece you can have some fun with and really make a statement at the same time.

july 8th 2011. amazing night. amazing boutiques. amazing music and most importantly… amazing charity. what was all this amazingness about?? “Closet Candy’s Summer Blend Fashion Show” benefitting local charity – Wonder Inc. it took place at local it club – MIX and was truly a night to remember! we received so many compliments on the outfits, models, music & organization that I couldn’t be any more pleased. getting the opportunity to work with everyone that took part in the show was such a great experience and really made me realized (for the millionth time) how much i love doing what i do. see you at the next show!
